Challenge~ With Valentine's Day right around the corner. What attracted you to your DH/SO?

Okay, So what attracted me to my hubby...Hmmmm, that's hard... lol no, really it's easy. His smile... he helped me out of the bronco and I looked up and he smiled the biggest smile I ever saw... and he kept smiling all night long. We were at the rollerskating rink, and every time I was around him he was smiling right at me. I told my friend, "he just keeps smiling at me, do you think that means he likes me...he can't like me, he's too gorgeous!!" When it was time to go, he got in his van and we got into our bronco, and he was trying to show off and gunned the van and broke the universal joint, and we had to give him a lift to his aunts. There was 6 people in the bronco and I sat in the middle up front next to my neighbor (his cousin) and him... I kept thinking "he is sitting next to me... Oh my goodness his knees are touching my knees!!!!" We were sitting on the floor and I was talking to his cousins and his sister while he was on the phone with his mom and I looked up toward him and he was staring at me smiling. I love his smile...I always have, and always will!

I shouldn't be complaining...

I know I shouldn't be complaining... & I may regret it later... but I have to vent something. My sweet husband, has been just working and working... and not just with his job. He comes home and he cleans the house! I get most of the house work done, but when he doesn't work he does it all. I go to bed thinking of my day for the next day...and I think "Dishes, Laundry, counters & vacum" and when I wake up the next morning all of it is done! I know I know... "shut up and take what he gives you..." but really, I feel like I'm failing at my job, maybe if I didn't fail at being a "homemaker" then he wouldn't do all of that. He says he just wants to help...and I believe him, but I don't know... LOL Any ways I have a wonderful husband and I love him so very very much!

A Tattoo??

Challenge: If you got a tattoo, what kind would you get and where would you put it?

WOW... I have wanted to get a tattoo for a long while.... I once wanted to get a tinkerbell or a double heart with mine & my husband's first intial.... and I wanted it just above my chest or on my thigh.

Where I shop...and why...

Challenge~ Lets talk about our favorite places we like to shop and why you keep going back to this store. Can be any type of store.

Hmmm... my favorite place to shop is my LSS, I love the people there. They are so special and sweet. They keep the prices down there, and most importantly they are very supportive of what you create and the photos you share with them.

I'm not really all that talkative today...I have a headache. :( I hope all have a good night and have a GREAT tuesday.

Hobby or Obsession?

Challenge~ Blog about what got you started in scrabooking and what keeps you in this wonderful hobby.

Wow, it was Hunting season 1997, and I was trying to fill my days...and nights...with activity (I couldn't & still can't sleep when my husband isn't home for so long). A friend of mine from college was having a "scrapbooking party" and wanted to know if I could come... I said YES... what the heck ya know. Going into it I thought, "It will be fun for tonight, but I could never get into scrapbooking!" I went to a Creative Memories "Class" and purchased my first book and some supplies. Almost 10 years later, what started out as a hobby has turned into an OBESSION! I can't get enough of it. I eat, sleep and dream about it. Some day I stay until 3 in the morning just to get the right layout or poem for a page. This is me... and I have to accept who I am...

A SCRAPBOOK ADDICT!!!

I keep in contact with a few friends from High School; and I love emailing them, keeping up with news and learning about their families. I have a MYSPACE account, and I have found a lot of old friends. I really miss two friends in particular. Kip and Tanya. They were our best friends in Jr & Sr High, they both were in our wedding. This photo is of them at our Prom.

Well, that's it. Busy day today and it's time to do something productive.

My Scrapbook Area... and my top ten fav singers/bands

I cleaned my bedroom, and I moved my bed, so I had to move my scrap table. My husband moved the shelves, and I cleaned the bottom shelf off and am using it for mags and stuff. It really cleans off my table and leaves more room. I really love this table. My dh and I were going to yard sales last summer and we found this table and two chairs that match. I really love it. I also love it when people say, "tell me something odd about you..." I always say "I have a kitchen table in my bedroom." I get a lot of weird looks.

Following the 2peas blogger for Thursday I need to blog about my top 10 favorite musical artist. I mostley like country music...but once in a great while, other things get into my brain. LOL

10. Chicago - I love their LOVE songs. :)
9. REBA... only need one name... and only need to say it, to know how GREAT she is!
8. Barabra Mandrell - wow, she is just the all time best!
7. Alabama - what can I say...it's Alabama... they best band ever!
6. Jake Owen - He is a new country artist, and I just LOVE his voice.
5. Andy Griggs - I just love the romantic songs and the passion.
4. Montgomery Gentry - again...I LOVE these boys...well MEN. They are not panseys, but they are sweet and loving and you can hear it.

Here Birdie Birdie...

I'm so excited!!! My friend's parakeet laid eggs and they hatched around Christmas. AND I get to have 2 of them. :) I am so excited...I want them NOW... but I have to wait. I will be getting them sometime in May. Perfect Mother's Day gift. :)

I'm suppose to blog about "What object in my home that I posses, that I absolutely love" and "about something I have that has special meaning to me." WOW, I have a lot of things that I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I absolutely love my wedding album, it is totally priceless to me. I would have to say that all of my photos of my family & friends that are important to me. All of my scrapbook albums I have are valuable to me, they hold all of my memories and recollections of those people who are influential to me. I have a few items that were my grandparents or my husband's family, that are important and of value to me. Too many to name. :) Enjoy the snow... and try to stay warm.

Oh Bother!

Journaling: I re-arranged my bedroom one-day, and decided to lay down and rest, and I snuggled next to my old friend, Winnie the Pooh, and said to him, "you've been through everything with me" I've had Pooh since I was almost 2 years old (maybe even before then). We were constant companions, together all the time. Every night I couldn't fall asleep without him near me. He's been through many things with me, every sickness, every happy time and all the sad times too! I'm (almost)35 year old now and his place, the place of honor, is still on my bed!

Blog, Blog, Blog...

Holy Moly... I haven't sat down and blogged in a long time. I have been so very very busy during Christmas time, and I just haven't had 5 minutes to do much. We had such a great day on Christmas. My husband's family came over Christmas day. We live in a single wide trailer and we had 24 people in our house. We cleaned our house for two weeks and within an hour and half it was trashed. But the kids are happy and everything is OVER...and now it's time to just chill.

New Year's was fun, we just hung out at home and watch movies, and then watched Chris Daughtry on the New Years Eve show, and then watched the ball drop. What fun... all of the kids (even my hubby) fell asleep by 10:30 PM. About 5-10 minutes before midnight... I stood up and said... "HEY everybody up! It's almost midnight!!" They all jumped up in shock and looked around and then laughed.

Well, everyone have a GREAT day...
